Finn Church Aid (FCA) is Finland’s largest international aid organisation based on the funding for our program work in 13 countries in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
In 2020, FCA’s fundraising amounted to 52.1 million euros. Our four main funding sources are parish and church contributions, private donations, government funding and institutional funding.
In 2020, our operations cost 47.8 million euros, of which we used 43.5 million for international aid operations. We spent 4.3 million euros on our domestic operations, including fundraising and communications, and general administration, such as the Head Office, finance division and overhead.
FCA ensures that the available funds are used as productively and responsibly as possible. As one of Finland’s leading development cooperation organisations, we have developed an internal audit supported by the board’s inspection committee. Risk management is also a part of our operational planning and assessment. FCA is audited by KMPG, a global network of firms providing audit and advisory services.
